![]() The 8600 printers I have had for 3+ years without a problem while the 8720 for 16 months dies. I do hope that the "humidity bug" does not attack my other three HP all in one printers. I have to admit that "INstant Ink" is not something I would do again. To add insult to injury, when I went to stop my "Instant Ink" subscription because the printer was unusable they will charge me the current month (5 days into new month when failed) ($9.95) and next month ($9.95) before they accually cancel my subscription. HP offers a small discount from list price but Staples or Amazon will sell it for much less. The solution is to recycle the printer and buy a new one. ![]() If that is the case good luck selling to most of the world where the humidityis much higher. There are a number of people with the same error, "Document Feeder Jam" error when there is no paper in the feeder, caused by most likely a sensor failure not due to use but as I have been told bu HP, "humidity".
